The tryouts will begin on August 6 and continue until August 9, from 6:00PM to 8:00PM. If a student is unable to attend, they will not be eligible for admission this year. However, parents will be notified if tryouts open again in the future.
Priority will be given to Saudi students and residents born in Riyadh if they pass the tryouts and admission tests. However, registration is open to everyone, and all students are welcome to sign up and take part in the tryouts.
- The student must be in primary stage (from grade 1 to grade 6)
- The student must be medically fit.
- The student must pass the tryouts.
- The student must pass the Riyadh Schools Football Academy admission test.
The parent will be notified via email or text message within 48 hours after the tryouts or two days after completing the academy admission test.
No. After passing the tryouts, the parent will receive a notification inviting the student to take the academy’s admission test. If the student passes, the parent will be notified of their acceptance or rejection for the current academic year.
If the requested grade level is full, the student will be placed on a waiting list, and the parent will be notified once a seat becomes available.
One of the academy’s primary goals is to integrate academics with sports. Therefore, if a student passes the tryouts and is selected, they must enroll in the school to join Riyadh Schools Football Academy.
After passing the tryouts and being accepted into the school, each student will be assessed based on multiple factors to determine their eligibility for a scholarship. Scholarship seats are highly limited and require a thorough evaluation process.
Once accepted, each student’s financial needs will be reviewed to determine the scholarship coverage level.
Yes, we hold an annual orientation session for all new students and their families. This session provides essential information about school policies, curricula, available resources, and answers to any questions parents or students may have.
It is recommended that the student’s English proficiency is at an acceptable level, as language skills will be assessed through the admission test.
All students admitted to the academy will be fully integrated into the school’s standard academic program. They will have dedicated training sessions outside school hours, along with support from academic advisors to assist them as student-athletes.
Yes, the academy will provide transportation for students between Riyadh Schools and the training facilities in Mohammed bin Salman Nonprofit City.
Yes, school visits will be available starting at the end of August 2025. If you would like to schedule a visit, please contact the Admissions Office to arrange an appointment.
